Our Story

In 2025, two faithful communities - Grace and Oakley Chapel - came together to form one family: Grace Chapel.

United by a shared heart for community, grace, and growth, we are a church woven together by our love for God and one another.

What began as two congregations has become one vibrant home where new beginnings are celebrated, families are strengthened, and every story finds its place in the greater tapestry of God’s work.

Grace Chapel was born from the faithful merger of two United Methodist congregations—Grace and Oakley Chapel—who shared one vision: to be Together in Christ. After years of serving side by side in the Rogers community, both churches discerned that they could do even more as one united body.

In 2024, that vision began to take shape as the two congregations started worshiping together, building relationships, and discovering the strength of shared ministry. Then, on June 8, 2025—Pentecost Sunday—a day that celebrates the birth of the Church and the power of the Holy Spirit—their union became official as they became “Grace Chapel United Methodist Church.”

As a symbol of that new life and growth, the congregation planted a tree on the church grounds that day—a living reminder that when God’s people come together, roots deepen and faith flourishes. Today, that spirit continues to guide us at Grace Chapel, where we seek to be Christ-centered, connected in love and committed to community.
