Caring Friends Respite Ministry

Our Story
Caring for a loved one with dementia is a journey filled with love, patience, and often, exhaustion. The Caring Friends Respite Ministry is a compassionate outreach dedicated to providing a much-needed break for those who serve as full-time caregivers.
One the third Wednesday of each month at 9am, we offer a safe, nurturing environment for individuals living with dementia, allowing their caregivers a few hours to rest, recharge, or simply take time for themselves. While participants engage in meaningful, supervised activities—such as music, crafts, conversation, and gentle movement—caregivers can step away with peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are in caring and capable hands.
Our mission is to reflect Christ’s love through support, fellowship, and dignity—for both caregivers and those they care for. Whether you're in need of a break or looking for a way to serve, the Caregivers' Respite Ministry is a place of comfort, hope, and community.
